Versatile and simple, the John S Brana 3mm Hammered Copper Cuff Bracelet is handmade out of genuine copper. The texture comes from a hand-hammering process that places small recesses in the metal by hammering its surface, then finally forming into a cuff.

Made out of 100% copper that is left in its natural, uncoated state, its rosy color can be restored at any point with Ketchup or any Copper Cleaner or allowed to patina for a more natural organic look. The bracelet is perfectly sized for layering with its 3/16-inch width, and makes a great 7th Wedding Anniversary gift or Christmas stocking stuffer.

SIZING: For proper fit, measure the length around your wrist and add 1/2 inch. If your wrist measures 6 inches in length, order a size 6 1/2.

PLEASE NOTE: When copper comes in contact with human skin where it can interact with air, sweat and other chemicals, such as soaps, lotions and makeup, or sunscreen, the oxidation (patina) process can accelerate and that causes the copper to turn brown, green or bluish-green, and stain the skin.

The reaction varies according to an individual's body chemistry, both in how long it takes for the green discoloration to form and in how pronounced the color becomes. Some people experience no discoloration. The discoloration, incidentally, is not harmful to one's health and is readily washed off with soap and water. If not washed off, it is normally absorbed by the body overnight.
